On June 10, Varna celebrates the 105th anniversary of its designation as a resort city - a significant milestone in the history of the “Sea Capital” that marked the beginning of its development as one of Bulgaria’s most popular tourist destinations.
To mark the anniversary, a series of initiatives have been organized, allowing residents and visitors to experience Varna’s rich cultural and tourist heritage. Part of the festive program is a special game on the Facebook page of VISIT Varna, which runs from June 4–11. Those wishing to participate can find more information about the game, the rules for participation, and the terms of the campaign on the organizer’s website and on VISIT Varna’s official channels.
Among the initiative’s partners is the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort complex, which is providing some of the prizes for participants. The following prizes can be won as part of the game:
- vouchers for full-day access to the water and thermal zone at Aquahouse Thermal & Beach;
- a weekend for two with one night’s stay and breakfast at Graffit Gallery Hotel.
Winners will be selected at random from among all participants who have met the contest requirements and will be announced after the contest ends on the VISIT Varna website and through their official communication channels.
105 years after Varna was declared a resort city, the maritime capital continues to build on its traditions in tourism and attract visitors with its combination of sea, culture, history, and valuable natural resources, including the mineral springs that have made the region a preferred destination for leisure, balneology, and spa tourism.
