At the end of the 19th century, grape therapy (ampelotherapy) was popularized in Europe. The combination with the sea climate intensified the healing effect. The first ampelotherapy treatment station in Bulgaria was opened in 1933 in Sts. Constantine and Helena, which was reconstructed in 2004 and named Estreya Palace Hotel.

This healing method has not lost its topicality and today it is applied in Estreya hotels, using organic grape products of own production of the Belogradets winery.
