The 110th anniversary of the first Bulgarian seaside resort – Sts. Constantine and Helena will be celebrated in Russia as well. On 3rd December 2018 at 18.30, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Moscow will make a presentation of the resort – its long-standing traditions in grape therapy, sea therapy, climatotherapy, the modern complex with the new hotels and spa centres, the healing properties of the mineral waters, the facilities for a vacation, sports, rehabilitation, health care, the opportunities for cultural and culinary tourism. Following the grape therapy and wine celebrations, which are part of the festive anniversary program, the guests of the event in Russia will taste a selection of Bulgarian wines.
There will also be a lottery with prizes – treatment programs with mineral water, spa vacations and therapies, anniversary books, souvenirs from the thermal complex in the resort. The travelling photographic exhibition “110 Years Sts. Constantine and Helena – Seaside and Spa Destination” will be presented, with Moscow being the third host city after the successful visits of the photographs to Berlin and Prague. The exhibition tracks more than the centuries-old development of the resort with dozens of black and white and colourful archive photos and drawings. It is an opportunity for the viewers to get acquainted with the history, culture, traditions and the present of the resort, to enjoy its picturesque coastline.
In Moscow, the event will take place with the cooperation of Varna Municipality, the National Tourism Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Russian Federation, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Moscow and Solvex Tourist Agency.
